A custom wooden flag isn't pulled off a shelf — it's built by hand the moment you order. I select the lumber, cut every stripe, hand-stain the wood, and assemble the whole thing myself in my Alabama shop. Because each one is made fresh, no two are ever exactly alike. Different grain, different character, every time. That's what "custom" really means here: a real handmade flag built for you, not a mass-produced copy of someone else's. When most people search for custom wood flags — or a custom wooden American flag — they're tired of the same factory-made, big-box look. They want something real — built by an actual person, from actual wood, that nobody else has an exact copy of.

That's exactly what I make. Every flag is custom-built to order in my shop here in Trussville, Alabama. I don't keep a stack of finished flags in a warehouse. When you order, I pick the boards, cut the stripes, hand-stain the wood, and assemble it from scratch. Six to eight hours of real shop time go into each one. Because of that, every flag carries its own grain, its own stain tone, its own character — yours will be the only one exactly like it.

From Raw Lumber to Your Wall

Select the Wood

I pick lumber with good grain and character — boards chosen specifically for your flag, so it looks right once it's finished.

Cut & Sand

Every stripe is individually cut to size and sanded smooth. This is where the most time goes — and it shows in the finished flag.

Stain & Paint

Stripes are hand-stained, the field is stained, and the stars are stenciled and spray-painted. No cutting corners on this step.

Assemble & Ship

Everything gets assembled, inspected, carefully packaged, and shipped free to your door — usually about 4 weeks from your order.

What makes these wooden flags custom?

Every flag is custom-built by hand when you order — nothing is pulled off a shelf. I select the lumber, cut the stripes, and stain and assemble it fresh for your order. Because of that, no two flags are exactly alike. Each one has its own grain, color, and character.

Can you personalize a flag with a name, branch, or logo?

Right now I build from my own designs rather than adding custom names, text, or logos. But if you have something specific in mind, send me a message first — I read every one myself, and I'll tell you straight whether it's something I can do.

What designs and sizes can I choose from?

You can choose the classic American flag or the Alabama state flag, with a Thin Blue Line design coming soon, in two sizes. The flagship is the 3-foot handcrafted wood American flag at $349 shipped free.

How long until I get my custom flag?

About 4 weeks. I build every flag myself from raw lumber, so there's a build time before it ships. I'll reach out if anything changes on your timeline.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. $349 is the full price — flag, packaging, and delivery to your door anywhere in the US. No surprises at checkout. In the Birmingham area? Local pickup is available too.

Can I use this wood flag outdoors?

No — this is an indoor flag. The wood and finish aren't built for weather. Inside on a wall, it'll last for decades and look incredible the whole time.
